Clinton Cowley is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sundial Advisors, a niche family office advisory boutique dedicated to supporting the commercial interests of Founders and their Family Offices. Clinton plays an intermediary role, focused on driving efficiency, creating value, and unearthing new revenue opportunities across existing assets. He has a proven track record of conceiving, negotiating, and executing commercial ventures for family offices. Where helpful he will happily operate as interim executive or board member within operating companies, taking responsibility for targets and objectives.
Clinton has served as a special advisor to the boards of three prominent international brands in the media and hospitality industries. In this role, he has facilitated ambitious transformation programs and spearheaded international expansion resulting in significant revenue uplifts. Since 2018, Clinton has been supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative through the creation of strategic international media partnerships.
With over 25 years of experience in representing successful families, their holding companies and operating businesses, Clinton is widely recognized as a leader in his field. His comprehensive understanding of family office transactions has enabled him to work across a diverse range of industries, including retail: Harrods & Selfridges; real estate: Galewest Investments; hospitality: Quintessentially & Boat International; film: Red Sea Film Festival; media: The Evening Standard & The Independent; and entertainment: The Ministry of Culture & UKNY. This has resulted in an expansive international network.
Prior to forming Sundial Advisors, Clinton served as a Director at Galewest Investments for over a decade. Galewest Investments, the Weston family’s investment company, owned several prestigious luxury retailers, including Selfridges, Holt Renfrew, Brown Thomas, and DeBijenkorf.
